Challenging science, interdisciplinary communication
With 7 years of experience in designing and delivering science education for schools and community groups, we understand the intricacies of what makes and breaks educational resources and experiences. Our past and present teaching experience in schools and universities, informs our educational services, keeping them current, curriculum linked and inspired.
At Sciart Solutions we believe education should take place, where possible, outside the confines of the classroom. With our marine science specialism, we offer a range of speciality marine educational workshops, such as rockpool exploration and beach art making. We also develop insightful classroom materials for marine science education purposes.

Cornwall’s Education Development Service – 'Beach Classrooms'
Sciart Solutions has worked extensively with Cornwall’s Education Development Service in delivery of a series of outdoor ‘Beach Classrooms’ projects. The central concept here being to educate pupils in a different, outdoor environment that is both engaging and challenging. Themes have included habitats, marine ecology and climate change, delivered in an inspiring beach location, through cross-curricular activities.
A Sense of Place Cornish curriculum unit
Sciart Solutions’ experience of working with the fishing sector lent itself exceptionally well to the development of fishing themed teaching resources for ‘Hooked!, a Sense of Place Cornish curriculum unit.
Resources included a set of fish top trumps and a ‘Tragedy of the Commons’ fishing game, to bring fishing and ideas of sustainability to a young audience in an exciting way.
Science 'summer school'
A science 'summer school' was delivered at St Mawes Primary School, where students spent a week being ‘mini marine scientists’. Activities included beach ecology surveys, identification, illustration and 3D design making.
